Juventus are pleased with the progress of contract talks with Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
The Wales international will leave Arsenal in June when his deal expires and he is now in negotiations with the Bianconeri.
Tuttosport says Juve are ‘optimistic’ about striking terms with Ramsey’s management, knowing the player is keen on the move.
Juve’s offer is for a fixed €6.5m-a-year plus bonuses of €1-1.5m based on appearances rising to a salary of €8m.
While the proposal falls short of what Ramsey is seeking, Juve believe the status of joining the Bianconeri will convince the midfielder to accept their terms.
