Arsene Wenger is in the final year of his contract with Arsenal and there is no telling if he’ll extend his contract – however, the French tactician is in the claim that he’ll leave behind a formidable Arsenal team.
After being heavily involved in the summer transfer market, Wenger has been on his toes in a bid to secure improved deals for Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, and reports have stated that the aforementioned players will soon sign new contracts.
The Mirror reported that the North London side have held further talks with Ozil and his representatives over the international break, reaching a breakthrough.
Arsene Wenger will also be hoping that it serves as encouragement for fellow star man Alexis Sanchez, who is also in talks to extend his deal, though it is believed that the Chilean remains some way off from reaching an agreement.
