Italian Serie A giants Inter are believed to be preparing a January transfer move for Arsenal star Mesut Ozil, whose current Arsenal contract will expire next summer, as reported by the Mirror.
Just like his teammate Alexis Sanchez, the Germany international playmaker is out of contract at the end of this season, with manager Arsene Wenger’s discussions with the Germany international over a new and inproved deal reportedly dragging on, according to the Mirror.
According to TransferMarketWeb, negotiations between both parties look to have stopped, with the popular news outlet having the impression that the former Real Madrid midfielder will leave the Emirates Stadium in the near future.
The Mirror claim, Inter Milan are keen on signing Mesut Ozil, with the Italian Serie A side set to be free to open talks with the midfield maestro in January, with the view to signing the German on a free transfer next summer.
Should the North London club end up losing one of it’s most prized assets – Mesut Ozil to the Italian Serie A giants, it’ll leave a bitter pill in the moths of Gunners fans as well as the club, who might find it hard to bring in a perfect replacement.
