Arsenal was and is still a dream club for many footballer as the club has continued to maintain its ideology.
Bayern Munich and Austria defender David Alaba has revealed that Arsenal was his childhood dream club.
Arsenal and Bayern Munich have been familiar foes of the Champions League and both club will reignite hostilities in February for the Champions League.
The two teams have met four times in the previous five campaigns, including two group stage matches last season.
And Alaba, who scored in a 5-1 thrashing at the Allianz Arena last term, is delighted to be facing the Gunners once again.
He told Bild: “For me, games against Arsenal are always beautiful because in my childhood they were my favourite team!
“Playing in London is also fantastic – almost as good as the Allianz Arena.”
Alaba has made 21 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring one goal and assisting six in the process.
