West Ham United star and former Arsenal ace Jack Wilshere has disclosed the one thing that would’ve made him remain at the North London club.
England international Jack Wilshere left the Premier League giants Arsenal this summer transfer window following the end of his deal and joined West Ham United on a free.
The midfield maestro had an offer tabled from Arsenal having been offered a new three-year contract.
However he knew he would not be playing regularly as previously. And the creative midfielder feels he would have remained at the club if French boss Arsene Wenger also stayed on as manager,
He said: “They [Arsenal} were going to bring [sign] players in and there is a new head coach who I [Wilshere] did not know. It would have been absolutely different if Arsene Wenger was in charge.”
