Arsenal ace Danny Welbeck suffered a nasty injury which saw him stretched out with an oxygen during Thursday’s Europa game.
The former Manchester United striker was pulled out at the first hold of the game to be replaced by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Welbeck went down awkwardly towards the end of the first half and needed immediate attention.
The medics came onto the pitch and tended to the Arsenal forward as his team-mates looked on distraught.
BT Sport opted against showing the challenge or Welbeck’s injury again but pictures suggest he may have suffered a broken leg.
That would likely rule him out for a large chunk of the rest of the season.
Welbeck has been linked with a January move away from the Emirates in recent weeks, as he continues to play second fiddle to Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.
Crystal Palace are reportedly lining up a £10million bid for the England striker.
