Ronald Koeman Slams Arsene Wenger For Complaining About Referee

Arsene Wenger is renowned for his foul cry whenever he lost game and most of the times, he has no justifiable reason for doing so.

Ronald Koeman has hit back at Arsene Wenger for complaining about the referee after Everton beat Arsenal.

The Dutch coach led his side to a 2-1 victory at Goodison Park, in a feisty encounter between both sides.

Everton’s win came as a shock as they ended Arsenal’s unbeaten run since their opening day defeat to Liverpool.

At full-time, Wenger complained about Everton’s physical nature throughout the clash and criticised the referee Mark Clattenburg for giving a corner, which he believed should have been a goal kick, that Ashley Williams then scored from.

But Koeman was quick to slam the Arsenal boss, claiming he’s made similar comments every time he’s beaten him.

‘I’m not surprised at Wenger’s comments,’ he said after the match.

‘It’s the third time I’ve beaten it at home and the third time he’s made it about the referee.’

Ouch!
