Italian Serie A giant AC Milan will look to trump Premier League giant Manchester City and Big Spending Paris Saint-Germain for Arsenal star forward Alexis Sanchez in the January winter transfer window, as reported by Don Balon.
The Spanish outlet report that the Serie A club nicknamed Rossoneri are preparing a €85million bid in order to beat Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City and French Ligue 1 giant PSG to the 28 year old’s signature. With the Chile international forward having just nine months left on his current Arsenal contract, and no signs of a new deal being negotiated talkless of agreed, the North Londoners would have to seriously consider such a massive sum from the Italian Serie A club.
The sizeable figure is designed to take both Manchester City and big spending PSG out of the race. Pep Guardiola’s team are believed to have kept their £60million bid on the table, with the same weekly wage for Alexis Sanchez, while the French heavyweight are seeking to replace striker Edinson Cavani.
AC Milan spent €200million in the recently slammed summer transfer window, and it looks like their spending spree will continue in January, if the offer for the Chilean does indeed happen.
