Arsenal boss Unai Emery is reportedly close to giving up on his side’s hopes of landing Wilfried Zaha from the fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace.
Zaha is one of Arsenal’s top targets but they face a difficult task in prising him away from the Eagles this summer.
Arsenal opened the bidding at £40m but the offer was immediately snubbed as it falls some way short of the club’s £80m valuation.
The Gunners are open to offering stars as part of the deal with Mohamed Elneny, Carl Jenkinson and Calum Chambers all available.
But with Arsenal having just £45 million to spend on new players this summer, a move for Wilfried would take up all of their transfer budget and Emery is keen to bolster several areas of his roster.
