Injuries are part of the game of football but they sometimes are a factor that makes or mares the title ambition of a club.
Manchester City will without their key midfielder IIkay Gundogan for the Arsenal game after the player sustained a knee ligament injury in the Citizen’s game against Watford last night.
Gundogan, who has endured much misfortune with injuries in recent years, had got off to an impressive start after joining City but it appears that Pep Guardiola’s side will have to cope without him for the majority of the rest of the campaign.
City are currently in fourth place in the Premier League, seven points adrift of leaders Chelsea.
Fans have taken to twitter and react to his injury
