Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil may continue to be in news for Arsenal until they agree to sign an extension deal.
Arsene Wenger has spoken out following the recent speculation linking Alexis Sanchez with a move to China.
Reports suggest Sanchez has been offered a £26million-a-year deal by Hebei China Fortune ahead of the January transfer window as the forward’s contract talks drag on in north London.
Manchester City, Chelsea and Juventus are understood to be also keen on the South American but Wenger has revealed that he has no powers to stop the player from moving.
‘If people want to go to China, they go to China. I have completely different worries to China ahead of Manchester City.
‘I think I closed that subject. I believe that there’s nothing more to add to that.’
The Gunners manager also stressed that the club are not worried about the fact Sanchez and Mesut Ozil have not yet renewed their deals at the Emirates.
He said: ‘You waste your time. I don’t see why there’s urgency to ask this in every press conference.
‘Perhaps you lack creativity in the newspapers and you only talk about the same subject.’
