Over the last decade, the Premier League has being a mirage for Arsenal as all efforts to win the League has been futile.
This term, however, we stand a chance of winning the League, given our form and Oxlade Chamberlain has revealed that consistency is all we need to win it.
Arsenal thumped West Ham last weekend 5-1 at the London Stadium this afternoon – with Oxlade Chamberlain bagging his side’s fourth.
And the England international reckons the north Londoners cannot afford to drop points in any fixtures.
“It’ll come down to who’s the most consistent,” he told BT Sport.
“In years gone by it’s been more about who wins big games.
“Arsenal play Liverpool etc – it’s who wins those top games tends to do well.
“But now, I think there’s no easy games.
“We’ve seen a lot of the so called bigger teams drop points – even to teams like Middlesborough who’ve just come up.
“I think that’s a credit to the league.
“It’s not so much about who’s just winning the big games now.
“It’s who’s most consistent the whole year in every single game. ”
Oxlade-Chamberlain has played 111 games for Arsenal since joining the club in 2011 from Southampton.
