Since joining Arsenal in the summer of 2014, Alexis Sanchez has been a gift to Arsene Wenger given his class and passion for the game.
He has revealed that the way he plays and works on the pitch is driven by his desire to become the best footballer in the world.
Sanchez has repaid the faith his manager Arsene Wenger has shown in him to the tune of 12 Premier League goals and six assists.
Aside from his impressive statistics, Sanchez has earned widespread acclaim for his attitude and relentless energy, but the former Barcelona man insists hard work simply comes naturally to him.
‘I have always been like this,’ Alexis told Arsenal Player. ‘My career won’t last forever and I am aiming to be one of the best players in the world. I want to do my best and be professional until my career ends.
‘I enjoy football a lot, I always wanted to be one of the best players in the world and I’ve been saying that since I was a little boy. I will slow down after I retire, but for the time being I will carry on like this.
‘I just try to train well, sleep well and be professional at my job. There´s no much of a secret to it.’
