Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur may have stolen the march on Unai Emery’s Arsenal and Niko Kovac’s Bayern Munich in the race to sign Cengiz Under from Seria Giants AS Roma.
According to reports in Italy from website Calciomercato.com, who cite claims made by TV channel Rai Sport, Spurs could seal a deal to land the Turkish star for €60 million ‘soon’.
They state that Spurs have made a bid to land Turkey international, Cengiz Under, from AS Roma and appear to be confident in their chances.
Arsenal have previously had an offer turned down for the player and were informed to pay somewhere in the region of €50 million in order to strike a deal.
Bayern Munich have also been strongly linked with the AS Roma prized asset in recent months, with the Bundesliga outfit identifying the player as a long-term replacement for Dutch winger Arjen Robben.
