Arsetalks brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.
Arsenal recorded a 1-1 draw at the Emirates stadium on Sunday, and that has exposed the somewhat lack of creativity in the side. The gunners failed to score and had to rely on an own goal from Kevin Wimmer to score in the game; the likes of Sanchez and Ozil fired blank in the game.
However, Metro are now reporting that Arsenal are one of the clubs interested in the signing of Riechedly Bazoer.
According to the player’s agent, there are four clubs keenly interested in the young midfielder, and the metro goes on to mention Arsenal in the report.
Bazoer, who has represented the Netherlands at various youth levels, is reported to be on his way out of Ajax, and it is now believed that he could leave next summer. Although, it is AC Milan that are reported to be frontrunners in the race for his signature.
The 20-year-old has made five League appearances this season, and that implies that he is not considered an important player at Ajax. Bazoer is a clinical midfielder who cringes at the thought of launching into tackles – which is a stark contrast from what we have in Granit Xhaka and Francis Coquelin. However, he makes up for it with his concentration and dribbling skills in the heart of the midfield.
Although, we are quite blessed with top talent in the midfield, the idea to have someone like Bazoer in our midfield would provide the needed continuity which some fans have been craving for.
In my opinion. I would not mind if he joins Arsenal, but we all know Wenger has the final say in such matters.
