Andre Gomes is unlikely to sign for North London club Arsenal this summer transfer window with claims that new Gunners manager Unai Emery is glad with his current team.
Speculations over the past few days claimed Arsenal were plotting an offer of about €25 million that would see Gomes, 24, be the final bit of transfer business in a successful summer window for the London side.
However, as per Sport, rumour regarding the potential move of Andre Gomes has cooled over the past few days after the Gunners manager suggested his transfer activity is done for the summer window.
The summer window closes on the 9th of August having already signed players like Sokratis, Stephan Lichsteiner, Bernd Leno, Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi the Gunners team feels revitalised ahead of a new season.
The Gunners are not the only side who are thought to be in the transfer race to land Gomes, with La Liga side Valencia also keeping close tabs on his Barcelona situation.
