Arsenal manager Unai Emery has been handed another injury blow ahead of the upcoming clash with Blackpool in the League Cup on Wednesday evening.
The Gunners have been on a long unbeaten run in all competitions ever since the back-to-back defeats in the Premier League which came against title rivals Manchester City and Chelsea at the start of the season.
On Sunday, Arsenal saw their incredible winning streak come to an end against a very determined Crystal Palace outfit who scored twice from the penalty spot to share the points in a dramatic London derby.
One man who was not able to complete that game was Hector Bellerin, as he was withdrawn by the boss during the half time break due to an injury.
Ahead of the League Cup clash against Blackpool on Wednesday, the Gunners have confirmed that the Spanish full-back will not be able to feature but he could return over the weekend.
“Right thigh. Misses Blackpool (h), being assessed ahead of Liverpool (h) on Saturday, November 3.” an official update from Arsenal’s official site said.
