The Gunners have snapped up the talented 19-year-old Polish ace from Legia Warsaw.
Spanish journalist Kike Marin ‘confirmed’ the news on Twitter this morning.
He wrote: “confirmed: This is the goalkeeper who is going to sign the @Arsenal is called Radoslaw Majeck, is Polish, is 19 years old, measures 1.93 and plays in the @LegiaWarszawa #Arsenal.”
Majecki could be seen by the club as a potential long-term replacement for Petr Cech
Cech has been deposed as Arsenal’s No.1 by summer signing Bernd Leno, and he could now be shunted further down the pecking order.
Although that could be delayed until the end of the season, with the Evening Standard recently reporting the Gunners would most likely loan Majecki back to Legia for the rest of the campaign before taking a decision over their next move in the summer.
