Malcom has asked Ernesto Valverde to let him leave Barcelona if he continues to be left out of the team. The unhappy attacker, whose situation is being closely monitored by Arsenal and Inter Milan, moved to Camp Nou in a £36.5 million deal over the summer after the Catalan club hijacked Roma’s transfer at the last minute.
But Brazilian has played just 25 minutes of action since joining the La Liga champions and is yet to start a match for his new club
According to Mundo Deportivo, he came back from international duty with Brazil and immediately asked for a meeting with Ernesto Valverde in which he made it clear he needs more playing time.
For his part, the Barcelona manager told Malcom he had been training well, behaving professionally and is not in the team because other players are ahead of him in the pecking order.
