Confirmed! 21-year-old Arsenal attacker turn down Premier League transfer

Following the arrival of Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City and contract renewal of exciting forward Eddie Nketiah, it is unlikely that young attacker Folarin Balogun would get the playing time his development requires next campaign. Therefore, ahead of an important season for Arteta’s team, the manager is believed to be keen on sanctioning a loan transfer to French Ligue 1 club Reims, but as per recent reports, the young forward could have stayed in the English Premier League had he not have rejected two offers.

That’s as per a report from leading transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, who, has reported that Folarin Balogun received offers from teams in the Premier League

“Folarin Balogun has received two offers from Premier League clubs this summer,” Romano wrote in his column.

“But he is now close to signing for Reims on loan.”

Although French side Reims now appears to be the most likely destination for the 21-year-old forward, it would definitely have been interesting to see how the lad performed in the notoriously tough Premier League.
