Despite the recent shut of the summer transfer window and the winter transfer window just two months away, clubs are already thought to be starting to signing new players.
Arsenal are thought to have tabled €15million for Trabzonspor attacker Yusuf Yazici, as reported by Gunebakis.com.
Trabzonspor club president Muharrem Usta has said receiving offers for the player and is quoted by Bein Sport via 61saat.com as saying: “Our star [players] Yusuf Yazici and Abdul Qadir have been offered serious proposals from three [top] European clubs, but we do not intend to sell [them]…”
Gunebakis is claiming that one of the bids is from Arsene Wenger’s side while the other two suitors are said to be from AS Monaco and Benfica. However the offers were not accepted with the Turkish club holding out for a fee of about €20million.
The 20-year-old is believed to be one of the most promising attacking midfielders in Europea at the moment, a left footed attacking player that has the prospect of becoming a top number 10, even a straight replacement for German Mesut Ozil.
The player has already had a decent start to the campaign with a tally of seven matches and has scored two goals already.
