Arsenal transfer target Richarlison has been greatly distracted by rumours, according to Watford manager Marco Silva.
As suggested by Pete O’Rourke, the Brazilian international has struggled after reports that both London sides are keen on signing him.
Richarlison was one of the major surprise packages during the first stanza of the season after his summer transfer to Watford.
The Brazilian was strongly linked with a transfer to Stamford Bridge throughout the summer transfer window but decided to join Watford instead.
Both sides have kept a close watch on the player’s recent development this term as he continues to impress greatly.
The 20-year-old has netted five times in the English Premier League this campaign, making four assists.
The player and Watford have recently struggled with only one victory in six league matches, with Richarlison’s last League goal coming back in December last year against Crystal Palace.
