Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has not ruled out a return to Arsenal at the end of the season.
Fabregas left Arsenal back in 2011 and has not rejected the idea of returning to The Emirates Stadium when he leaves the Blues.
The 31-year-old star is out of contract at the end of the campaign and Chelsea look set to let him depart on a free.
Speaking to The Daily Mirror, Fabregas said:
“In seven months my contract ends with Chelsea. It will be 16 seasons playing at the highest level, over 750 games, a lot of training, travelling.”
“I feel young and strong, but maybe I can’t do 60 games a season. With my style I think I can keep playing for longer and obviously I want to keep playing for many years.”
“Arsenal will always be in my heart, and I will never forget them so why not return. You never know.”
He made over 300 appearances for the Gunners after breaking through their youth ranks, netting 57 goals.
