Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has received a double injury worry after Alexis Sanchez suffered an injury while training with the Chile national team ahead of their World Cup qualifying double-header against Colombia and Uruguay. The 27-year-old has been ruled out of the open match in Barranquilla on Thursday [10 November] but according to reports in his homeland is ready to go through the pain barrier to play the second match in Santiago next week.
Chilean publication La Tercer reported, on Tuesday morning, that Alexis had “set the alarms bells ringing” in his national team after the Arsenal star withdrew from Tuesday’s training session due to a muscle injury. Alexis allegedly started the session with the rest of his teammates but was forced off after suffering a knock in the femoral triceps.
In another news, Hector Bellerin has flown to London for check up as he picked up a knock at the training ground of Spain’s under-21 and may not be in contention for Arsenal’s Premier League clash against the Red Devils on Saturday 19th November.
