Inside sources confirm Arsenal boss Unai Emery wants to land out-of-favour UCL giants keeper worth £12m

The Premier League and UCL giants Arsenal boss Unai Emery has reportedly earmarked La Liga side Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas as a possible signing, according to the latest reports from Spain.

The Gunners brought in Germany international Bernd Leno as a long-term replacement for ageing Petr Cech during the summer transfer market, while the Czech remains as backup at the North London.

However, according to a Spanish-language newspaper El Confidencial, Unai Emery is ‘in a rush’ to secure the signature of Keylor Navas at the midway point of the season.

Navas has made 149 appearances since joining Real Madrid in the summer transfer window of 2014 from the Spanish side Levante for a reported £9 million fee, but the 32-year-old star now finds himself on the bench after the arrival of Belgian star Thibaut Courtois.
