According to reports, Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele is keen on a move away from his current club and regrets joining the La Liga giants amid speculations linking him with a move to Arsenal.
Diario Gol suggests Dembele’s fellow France international Karim Benzema has learned of the forward’s intent to leave the Catalan club after struggling to settle in at Camp Nou.
The Spanish publication suggests the ex Dortmund forward does not get on with a couple of big names at the club, including superstar colleague Lionel Messi.
This news comes as Don Balon also suggest the Gunners are interested in Dembele after an information from his old team-mate at Dortmund Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who moved to Arsenal this winter.
That report says the Gunners were only ready to pay about £53million for the youngster, which may be below Barcelona’s valuation, but they may be delighted to learn the 20-year-old himself is so interested in leaving Nou Camp.
The Gunners lost Chilean Alexis Sanchez this January, and despite signing both striker Aubameyang and attacker Henrikh Mkhitaryan, could certainly still do with more reinforcements in attack.
Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott also both left the North London club last month and players like Alexandre Lacazette and Alex Iwobi have not impressed this season.
