Lucas Moura claims he is keen on working his way back into French giant Paris Saint-Germain‘s first-team despite being advised to join Arsenal in January. The 25-year-old scored 19 goals in 52 matches for big spending French team last campaign but is yet to start this season under manager Unai Emery following the arrivals of Brazilian Neymar and Frenchman Kylian Mbappe in the summer.
Lucas has been strongly linked with various English Premier League teams for some time, even before now, and former Chelsea defender Brazilian Alex urged the winger to consider a transfer to the Emirates Stadium in January.
Alex, though, feels his compatriot must move on from the the Ligue 1 side to boost his hopes of game-time. He said If he was in the winger’s place, he would have already left PSG to make an impact elsewhere. Alex feels Spanish football could suit Lucas – taking advantage of the space with his speed and technique.
