Arse Talks brings you latest update on Arsenal news from top media sites like Daily Mail, Metro, The Express, The Independent, The Telegraph, SkySports and so on.
Arsenal have emerged as contenders for the signature of Xherdan Shaqiri, whose future at Stoke has been called into question.
The player’s brother and agent, Erdin Shaqiri, has been quoted as saying the player could consider his future at Stoke in the January window and AS Roma are interested.
His agent did go on claiming that the Swiss has fully committed his future on life at Stoke for now, but the door appears to be open in regards to a move away if the Potters do not start climbing the table soon.
There will be no shortage of interest in the 25-year-old midfielder should Stoke confirms his availaibility, and it has now been suggested that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will be keeping an eye on him.
Shaqiri could be seen as the perfect replacement for Gunners star Santi Cazorla, who continues to be linked with a return to Spain, and the Potters may face a battle to keep hold.
For now, the midfielder is concentrating on staying fit and showing what he can do in the Stoke side after struggling through injury so far this season.
