Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Antero Henrique says Adrien Rabiot has refused their contract offers so he can leave on a free, and he’ll be benched indefinitely as a result.
Speaking to Yahoo Sport, Henrique admitted that PSG have no plans to reopen talks to extend Rabiot’s contract, as it stands.
“At this point, no,” Henrique said.
“It was a decision made by the club following a meeting I had with the player. The player informed me that he would not sign a contract and that he wanted to leave the club for free at the end of the season, i.e. at the end of his contract.
Henrique went on to talk about how negotiations seemed to be going well a few months ago, and they appeared to have found some common ground with a number of playing conditions.
