According to reports, Arsenal are not planning to make a bid for Juventus star Juan Cuadrado in the winter transfer window.
Juan Cuadrado rebealed a week ago that he had not considered leaving Serie A champions Juventus over the summer transfer window, and various opinion pole revealed that Arsenal will not make a move, even if the Colombia international winger was keen, knowing fully well tht the Guunner clearly felt sufficiently stocked upfront to loan out the likes of Spaniard Lucas Perez, youngsters Joel Campbell, Stephy Mavididi and Takuma Asano.
According to Sky Sports, Wenger’s team never really wanted to sign Juan Cuadrado. The report claims the French tactician never made an offer to sign the Colombian international.
The Premier League flop has made a strong start to the Italian Serie A League season, netting once and providing three assists in just five Serie A league fixtures. Those three assists made came in each of his last three matches in Italian Serie A, so he is doing so well right now.
Still, it’s widely believed that the former Chelsea winger would have to be performing even more than that for the Gunners and manager Arsène Wenger to change their opinion and table a huge offer for someone who will be 30 years old in May.
