Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has heaped praises on striker Alexandre Lacazette for his decent outing and his goals at the Emirates Stadiun since he arrived, but says the club record signing just need to repeat the same away from Emirate Stadium.
After Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger used his post-West Brom press conference to mention a similar thing, Granit Xhaka echoed his bosses’s thoughts on the France international striker, saying as per the Daily Star that Lacazette is an important player for the Gunners. He admitted they all know his qualities at the club and it’s visibly clear that he’s ice-cold in front of goal. He however stated that the summer signing needs to repeat the same away from home– then he’ll be really pleased with him.
The former Lyon striker was unlucky to have his goal at Stoke ruled offside, especially when United striker Romelu Lukaku’s goal at the same bet365 stadium was allowed for almost the same offside decision.
Arsenal’s next Premier League match is at home to new boys Brighton, so the Frenchman won’t get an opportunity to get off the mark in an away match until at least mid-October.
