Arsenal may be set to miss out on Porto’s captain Hector Herrera, who has reportedly agreed terms to join AS Roma.
According to reports from Italy, the man who the Gunners have identified as a potential replacement for 27-year-old midfielder Aaron Ramsey could be on his way to the south part of Europe.
Hector Herrera is nearing at the end of his contract with the Portuguese outfit and has been heavily linked with a host of teams in recent months.
However, it now appears that the Giallorossi have won the race to sign the player on a free transfer.
The report claims that the Serie A side have offered the player a four-year deal to make the move to Italy.
