Arsenal have been strongly linked with a move for Brazil international Malcom in recent times, but reports claim they could face competition from AS Roma in their pursuit.
The north London outfit were touted as the club ‘most interested’ in recruiting Malcom from Camp Nou last month. Recent reports, however, have indicated that the Premier League giants’ interest is not as strong as what was once reported.
However, it seems that they will be faced with European competition if they do opt to pursue former Bordeaux man, with Corriere dello Sport indicating that Roma may reignite their interest.
The 21-year-old winger was due to complete a move to Italian capital during the summer window but performed a U-turn at the 11th hour, as the Spanish champions swooped to land him from Ligue 1.
