Despite injury to Santi Cazorla and the loan move of Jack Wilshere, Arsene Wenger still have a plethora of midfield options to help fire his team to the title.
Former Arsenal attacker Robert Pirez has indulged Arsene Wenger to always start Mohamed Elneny.
The 24-year-old Egyptian joined Arsenal from Basel in the January of this year but has struggled to establish himself as a first team player.
However, the Egypt international has relatively impressed this campaign under Arsene Wenger.
The 24-year-old has started five league games with a further four appearances coming as a substitute.
And Arsenal hero Pires has hailed Elneny, claiming he should start in Wenger’s midfield with Granit Xhaka or Francis Coquelin.
“Mohamed Elneny; he’s a great player. He’s interesting because he is a clearer,” Pires told KingFut.com
“He has a good technique, physically he is amazing, and yeah I think he can help Arsenal, he can help in the midfield.
“When he plays with Coquelin or Xhaka we can see the good combination; good duo.
“So yeah, I like Mohammed Elneny.”
